SUMMARY:James River Crossing
DESCRIPTION:MAPA presents the 2022 MAPA James River X’ing on Sunday\, Sept. 4th! This is an ECORA OC-6 points race and the second year with this format. The 22.2-mile out and back relay will begin and end on the Pagan River in the heart of Historic Smithfield with a nice sandy beach exchange at Huntington Beach at the foot of the James River Bridge. Cost: $50 per person before Aug. 15th. $60 after Aug 15th and includes Race Swag and a party (at the Wharf Hill Boat Basin) in addition to the epic race across the historic James River (exchange is upstream from where the Monitor and Merrimac ironclads fought). \nContact canoe_dude@cox.net or sign up on PaddleGuru.
